Time passed, and in 1985, the grand hotel was sold to Bally Entertainment Corporation for 594 million dollars. The curiosity lies in the fact that the intermediaries have already been featured in major films, such as in 1985’s “Rocky IV”, where the hotel ended up being used as the location for the exhibition of Apollo Creed’s fight against Ivan Drago, the theater being clearly visible during the scene. In 1992 another moment of fame was the filming of the movie “Honeymoon in Las Vegas”, starring Nicolas Cage and Sarah Jessica Parker, who also showed the place on the big screen. And in 1993, in “Indecent Proposal”, starring Robert Redford and Demi Moore, they used the charm of the installations for heated takes.

It’s worth noting that the hotel allocates rooms for the “PetStay” program, so anyone interested in traveling with their dog is free to do so!
