Find tips and the main places to buy party clothes!

Going to Vegas and not enjoying a party is the same as not going at all. As most tourists are already planning to enjoy some kind of celebration in the city, the demand for outfits for these occasions is always very high.

One of the main reasons is the weather, which sometimes goes off schedule, being either too hot or too cold, and your suitcase may not be prepared with the appropriate outfit.

Is this cause for despair? Never! After all, Las Vegas is stocked with quality shopping addresses at tempting prices!

Get to know

Unlike the big cities in Brazil, where fashion standards are stricter, after all they are on the world’s fashion calendar, and the incentive to follow dictatorial styles is massive, in Vegas it’s not quite like that. The city’s natural simplicity has made it a great catwalk for timeless ideas. Around here, it’s easy to come across proposals for sets that have never been thought of or seen in Brazil. Of course, one of these reasons is the enormous mix of countries on the Strip, due to the demand from tourists from all over the world. So the place is a great opportunity to let your imagination run wild and, why not, show off a new, more daring look. Let your stylist side come out and propose a new way of dressing!

Another option
Well, if the party outfit isn’t actually for Vegas but you’re looking for options to take back to Brazil, that’s fine too. All the stores, or at least the most famous ones, cater for all styles, from the classic to the more modern.

The tip is always to scavenge as much as possible. Another piece of advice is not to put off buying something you really like.

The fact is that department stores are very popular with visitors, and it’s obvious that it’s not just you who comes to the United States with the aim of boosting your closet, so if you want a good (branded) product at a low price, don’t think twice, get yours, or someone else will do it for you!

Data
Proof of this significant amount of spending by Brazilians are the surveys presented. In 2013 alone, 10.5 billion dollars were left at checkouts, according to the US Department of Commerce. Brazil is the fifth country that spends the most in the USA, considering tickets, accommodation and PURCHASES! Since 2004, Brazilian consumption in “Uncle Sam’s homeland” has increased by 560%.

Suggested stores:
Outlets
First of all, let’s go to the Brazilians’ favorites. The two options are:
Las Vegas Premium Outlets – North Las Vegas Premium Outlets – South

There you can find the main famous brands such as Ann Taylor, Calvin Klein, Coach, Dolce & Gabbana and Ralph Lauren. It’s well worth stopping by both, as each one has different promotions and different stores, making it a great choice for more casual dresses.

Shopping
Yes, Las Vegas has great malls to buy everything you need for a festive occasion. The Fashion Show Mall, located in front of the Wynn hotel, is a good choice when you’re on the Strip and don’t want to go elsewhere. Some of the brands you’ll find there are: Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Dillard’s, Zara, Forever 21 (which has simple, younger pieces) and BCBG, which is the place to go for more luxurious party dresses at interesting prices.
Galleria At Sunset
If you go to nearby Henderson, 15 minutes from Vegas, this is a different option for your shopping. With less of a “tourist” focus, you can find different brands at reduced prices. Among the brands there are: Charlotte Russe, H&M (yes, especially great for men, with wonderful prices), Tilly’s, Vercini, JCPenney, G by GUESS (with more modern dresses). All with beautiful ideas for you to find what you’re looking for. Of course, these are just a few of them; it’s well worth getting away from the Strip to find more exclusive pieces.
Various Shops
It’s always worth stopping by the most famous department stores. In this section, you probably won’t find the “latest collection”, but you will be able to find unique items that often cost less than in the outlets. Another good alternative are neighborhood stores, in other words, stores frequented more by locals than tourists, which always stock exclusive items.
