Top wedding dress store options

When you think of traveling abroad, many tasks come to mind. What to pack, what season it is in the country you’re going to, which tourist destinations to add to the tour, you name it! Now imagine planning all this while still preparing for a wedding?

If we put it like that, it might seem like an impossible task, wouldn’t it? But rest assured, when the destination is Las Vegas, everything is easier. This is because the city is fully prepared to provide all the professional support the bride and groom need for this big event.

In the previous article on wedding venues you’ve probably already decided on the ideal chapel, now it’s time to choose the best outfit to make the couple look perfect for the occasion. There are many points to take into account in order to arrive at the ideal outfit, such as the weather, the style of the ceremony and, of course, the time of day.

Initial tips:

1°- Understand your body. We all know that we have parts that favor us more than others, right? Learn to use them to your advantage. For example: If you have unwanted belly fat, don’t wear tight-fitting models or dresses with pleats, as these can emphasize this area even more. And isn’t that what we want, right? Remember, there’s still the factor that the dress (in most cases) is white, and yes, it does make you fat, don’t be fooled!

2°- The male wing is not left out, as many like to go bold at a Vegas-style wedding. In fact, that’s the whole point, but you don’t want to look bad in the photo. So, MEN, avoid wearing clothes you’ve never worn before. Ex: If you don’t know how you’ll look in a fluorescent green suit, try not to wear your new look that day. Why not use accessories? A scarf in a more extravagant color or perhaps a different flower in your jacket pocket? Think about it, okay?

3°- As you already know, there are several ways to hold a ceremony, so determine which will be yours and how formal it will be. This can and should influence the choice of clothes.

4°- Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors? If it’s outdoors, will it be on a terrace or in the countryside? The choice is decisive as to whether the dress can be short, long, open at the neck or not.

5°- This is a valuable tip, especially for women. Don’t buy a wedding dress that’s a few sizes too small with the intention of losing weight in the future. It’s better to be sure of getting into the clothes than to run the risk of being extremely uncomfortable on your day. It’s much easier to give yourself a point if you lose weight than to be held hostage by shapewear.

6°- Combine the veil with the dress in harmony. For this, a few rules can help: sleeveless and fitted dresses go well with long veils, while flowing and ballerina-style dresses go well with short veils, or at most around the waist. Basically, the more elaborate and decorated the dress, the simpler the veil should be. Understood?

7°- As traditional options take a back seat in Vegas, many couples are moving away from standard colors such as white and beige. If this is the case for you, consider the type of color that favors you, see if your skin tone goes well with the color of the dress or suit.

8°- Shoes: Buy a COMFORTABLE pair! Consider that the wedding is not just the ceremony, especially in Vegas, where it lasts around 15 minutes. Before and after the vows are confirmed in the chapel, it is normal for the couple to have a photo session. Unlike in Brazil, where the rehearsal can be done in the ballroom itself, in Vegas you’ll probably go to the Strip for the clicks, after all there are many beautiful spots to be part of your album. Which means you’ll be walking a lot! And you need to wear shoes that don’t hurt!

9°- Accessories and make-up: Please don’t let these two items fight with your face! Of course, you always want to do your best make-up and wear the best pair of earrings you have. To avoid the risk of making your look extremely “over the top”, the best advice is to test it out first, not only with your make-up and accessories, but also by wearing the dress! At first you may find it boring, but you can bet you’ll be grateful when “the day” comes. There’s nothing more desperate than having that “little surprise” right on your wedding date, don’t you agree?

10°- Still on the subject of make-up, there are several things to bear in mind. Don’t forget to buy or ask your make-up artist to use waterproof products, because no matter how hard you try not to cry, this is a new experience in your life, and yes, it can happen that the emotion speaks louder and you end up crying, which is perfectly normal. If you don’t have powerful make-up on (or a fixative) you might turn into a pumpkin before your time. Finally, don’t forget that during the day it’s best to use lighter colors for your makeup and at night it’s best to invest in darker shades for your lips or eyes.

11°- Buy and don’t rent! Because this is great information, in Vegas it’s much better to buy a dress than to rent one. Because of this, the price ends up being the same, and in many cases even cheaper. This doesn’t take into account the state in which you find the rental dress – never brand new, always looking “used” and in need of a little adjustment.

Ah! If you’re worried that you won’t have enough space in your suitcase to take the dress back to Brazil, don’t worry, most stores buy second-hand dresses to rent out.

12°- Don’t be afraid to search, it’s the best way to find what you’re looking for. So try to plan your costume search in advance so that you’re not held hostage by the first offer that comes along. You’ll soon realize that you can find the best value for money for the couple.

That said, it’s time to choose where and how to buy your clothes.
We’ve listed a few places to help you find everything you need. Each item can fulfill a different desire, so if possible, read all the ideas so that you don’t miss out on any store, ok?
Remember that the options cater for both male and female models.

Buy online

Getting married abroad is already a very modern move, how about buying your dress online and taking advantage of the moment? At first glance, this may seem like a very radical idea, if you think that you won’t have the chance to try on the dress. But there are sites that are trying to improve their online service in order to make the choice as correct as possible. By having videos of models wearing and moving in poses with the outfits or “zooming” in on the details of each part of the outfit, the bride can better visualize the model and imagine it on her body.
But the biggest advantage of this type of purchase is the price. The price can be up to four times more than one bought in a physical store. Don’t forget that you’re also in Vegas to enjoy other entertainment, so with this advantage you won’t have to waste time going to the stores, since you’ll have arranged the delivery, still in Brazil, to receive it directly at the hotel or at the address of your choice. Check out some of the sites that offer these services:
If you’ve already set aside a few days in your itinerary to go to the stores to try on your dress, we also have some suggestions for nice addresses with average prices in the city.

At this point, it’s worth leaving the Strip to get more variety and better prices! Check out some physical stores:
